Why is the KC media actively sabotaging their best players?

KCTV5 has been milking Reek's story on a weekly basis. They've been literally building up hype whenever they have new infomation like it's a ****ing Wrestemania main event.

It's really gross and now they've started ****ing with Mahomes. I won't blame him if he leaves. This place has gotten weirder and weirder by the month since he's been here. I feel bad for him.

They're acting as if they give any kind of **** about the child or spouse, while sitting on "info" to leak as the story dies down. If they have pertinent information then it's downright negligent on their part. How is it not obstruction of justice if they have damning evidence that the police don't but are sitting on it for personal gain?
