Bills fan Kyle Brandt caught flip-flopping in 4k

First, Kyle's opinion this week, after his Bills lost:

But he didn't always feel that way. Here he is in 2019, when KC proposed the rule change after losing to the Patriots in the same way:

We all know in our hearts that if they change the rule the Chiefs will take advantage of it in a big game.

The same bitches will be crying about the new rules because they are bitches.

I’m not saying don’t change the rules. Change them if you want. But if you weren’t complaining with us back when it happened in 2018…then don’t ****ing complain now.

Absolutely. I am in favor of changing the rules. We have Mahomes. I don't want a coin flip to keep the ball out of his hands.

That's why I'd like to see the entire clip.... in 27 seconds, it seems like he's only arguing what's being asked, which seems to be guaranteeing one possession each. In this week's clip, he's proposing his own solution.

There is the "if you don't want to lose, don't let them get on base" in the baseball analogy though, as a lead in to his proposed 10 minute OT.... missed that the first time, which is a direct contradiction to post-Patriots game.

If Josh Allen won that coin flip our season would be over. That’s the truth.

Both teams should touch the ball. It’s a huge advantage for offenses in that scenario bc not only is the game changed to favor offense, but both defenses are gassed. They’re dead tired.

Keep the rules the same except the team that lost the coin flip gets a chance to get a TD if the team that won the coin flip gets a TD first
So let’s say Buffalo gets a chance and gets a TD.

Then the Chiefs get the ball and get another TD.

Is that game over?

Are we not right back where we started? It’s not fair because Buffalo didn’t get a chance again?

It’s absurd. The OT rules are fine, and I wasn’t somebody complaining back in 2018 either.

The rules are the way they are because of injuries. The longer the game, the more the likelihood of serious injuries.

This is where I'm at. If there is a better overtime solution, I'm all for it.

But Christ, I don't ever remember this much blowback about these specific overtime rules. Tom Brady has benefitted from them in both an AFCCG and a Super Bowl, and there wasn't this much blowback.

Why now? Are Mahomes and the Chiefs already hated that much?

Shawn Barber's idea is that in case of a tie, the higher seed moves on. I SORT of like it?

You make them go for two, and a turnover loses the game if the other team gets at least a FG.

He NEVER said "deserved" - that's you putting words in his mouth, like I said. He simply stated "you lose. I'm sorry." Is there something beyond the ending of the clip that indicates he believes that loss is deserved and that he approves of the rule? If so, produce it. He could have said all kinds of things related to "I'm sorry". This smacks of a convenient video edit. If he goes on to say "I'm sorry...you shouldn't let the offense score a TD", you totally have a case to make on his hypocrisy. Until then, it's based on a weirdly edited video

If it doesn't get changed after the Tebow miracle in OT against the Steelers in 2012 you are not going to find a better argument.
