By running on 2nd down, you have a more manageable play on 3rd down. Instead, they basically forced Mahomes to take a sack.

I feel like you just throw the incompletion at that point. The goal is to score a TD and taking a 5 yard sack when you are at the 4 is not ideal. The Bengals would have needed a TD with maybe 30 seconds left and 0 timeouts.
