How is everyone feeling today?

How is everyone feeling today? I am feeling alright, I am over the loss so let's focus on free agency and the draft and try to get back to the Superbowl next year

Yep, not much to add here. Have enough going on in my personal life that this is just a small bump in the road.

Mostly, it wasn't that they lost, it was how they lost. I'm going with Patrick was injured on some hit to his head because he sure looked like his brains were scrambled.

I've got my Sundays back and it's time to get working on those projects that I've been using football as an excuse to ignore.

Just like last year when the Chiefs lost in the SB, not interested in football until next year. I'm hoping the Royals play this year because I like having games on as background noise...

Gut punch

First time poster here. This game still feels like an absolute gut punch, and it made me question everything that Mahomes is capable of. Per ESPN, his total QBR half splits were 98/1.4. He had the worst second half I have ever seen from a quarterback in the playoffs, and I honestly question spending 500 million on him and locking him in for 10 years. This is the worst loss I can ever recall as a sports fan, especially with the rest of the football gladly cheering it on. This is the end of any alleged dynasty and the team needs to make drastic changes. Time to shuffle EB off to college ball and push Spags into retirement. Let’s hire Fangio for DC, and elevate Kafka. Let Clark walk, get rid of Dirty Dan and Niemann, spend heavy in the draft on defense and pick up some WRs in FA. Mahomes needs to do some serious soul searching to figure out why he had the single worst choke in playoff history and find ways to never repeat it again. I am disgusted and ashamed and despondent. When does next season start already?

During the game it was rough. After the game, I moved on. Going to 4 championship games is awesome. I look forward to who we keep and add to the roster.

The upside is now my super bowl weekend is open and I will spend it traveling in our new off grid van. Seems like a good use of time!

Disappointed, but nothing like I did after any of the pre Reid playoff losses. Those felt like either the window slamming shut or we had no business even being there as we were clearly outmatched. As long as they chiefs have Reid and Mahomes I feel they'll be in the hunt almost every year. Hunt always wanted a team that modeled the Steelers organization who competes every year and we have that now.

Still feeling terrible. This is not a veteran juggernaut that we lost to. Just couldn't get out of our own way.
Feels like all the playoff swagger earned over the last few seasons vanished in one game and will have to be built all over again.

It's true, fans will look back at 2021-22 as one that got away in an ugly way.

But so what, it's sports, and no, sports is not life. Gotta learn to let go of what you can't control. Beautiful morning where I am!

Welcome to the board. But man, if your first post is advocating that we should have let Mahomes walk you are off to one hell of a start.

I hope you're very young. As much as I'm bummed by this loss and a giant missed opportunity, I'm not sure it's even in my top 10 all time.

Winning that Super Bowl in 2019 was huge. HUGE. It means we're not chasing that anymore.

I don't really let these losses get to me... they did it to themselves, which sure as hell beats losing to the refs or losing to some complete shit team.

2nd half was obviously very frustrating, yet they still had every opportunity to make it to their 3rd consecutive Super Bowl, even with Mahomes looking lost down the stretch... and a playoff run looked like a pipe dream in October.

feeling about the same as after the SB last year. Disappointed in the effort.
This one is on us, not the refs.
