Great post. I feel my 2 sons and I have developed into more than father and son but also great friends. It is pretty cool to move into that part of life and relationships. My middle one had to move back home last Fall after things didn't work out with his new wife. But the good thing is that we see him way more than ever before when he was with this women since high school. I will be glad when he moves out (in a couple of months, hopefully) but I will also miss having him around all the time.

Its a proud and scary moment when they move out on their own but its real easy to get used to.

The wife had a bit of an adjustment the first Christmas the kids weren't waking up there but its gotten better after a few years now.
