If you’re a candidate, use lithotripsy. You get sedation, 4000 shocks and (most importantly) no stent.
Efficacy is about 85%. Unless your stone burden is high you need percutaneous neph procedure. But unless you need that and your not in danger of going septic, it’s lithotripsy all the way. |
