Bills/ Bengals [cancelled - process in OP]

In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Breaking News: Of course the game is secondary to #DamarHamlin’s health, but #Bills insider @viccarucci just reported on @wgrz Daybreak that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will make the call on rescheduling the Bills/Bengals game and it would have to be played within 2 days.

After speaking with both teams and NFLPA leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week.

The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date.

Sure, but like BRC said, things can just be unfair because shit isn't fair sometimes... not everything that goes badly is a vendetta against the Chiefs.

And as "no shit, Captain Obvious" as that might sound, I'm not sure everyone gets that... hell, routinely pre-complain about getting screwed by refs who don't even get assigned to the Chiefs.

The reality is there are very few 'blatant' cases, such as that one drive against the Texans, the SB against the Bucs.... much less pre-crying about how the NFL will ALWAYS go out of their way to screw the Chiefs and making up future cases of being pre-****ed.

They don't know what they are playing for at all, though. The league hasn't officially cancelled the Bengals/Bills game yet and they are also floating bullshit about neutral site AFC Championship games and not strictly going by their own rulebook (winning percentage).

There's certainly a middle ground, but people that say we are never allowed to complain are just as bad as those that think the refs and the league are always out to get us.

Yeah, the consequences should have been clear at the time... if they had told the Bills and Bengals it would be ruled a no contest on Monday night if they didn't continue within 24 hours or whatever, I bet they'd suddenly feel a bit more motivated to continue the game a day later.

With no consequences, why the hell would they want to continue? The NFL really botched that part, it seems.

If they come to some sort of decision that factors in this weekends games before the final decision is made then they need to make outcomes based on the outcome of the games. What you can’t have happen for example is the Bills getting some sort of advantage that doesn’t require they win this weekend and still get a path to some sort of one seed type benefit.
