I had heard rumors that his injury was serious enough to consider retiring. That would be best case for the Rams, honestly. Unless someone wants to trade for him and that big-assed contract, maybe. WAIT-actually, he's only due $20m. That's not bad. Moving Stafford might be a real possibility for them and would help their cap situation, although they'd have to find a QB.

Donald almost retired last year. If he retires and they can trade Stafford, they could get out of cap hell right there. Bring back Mayfield on a cheap deal and they could be okay.
