These drivers are contractors. They choose the orders they want.

That's one way to look at it. The other is convincing you that doing the same job without any benefits, paid time, or protections should be the customer's responsibility.

This isn't helping delivery drivers - it's hurting them.

To be honest, I don’t really care. I doubt most people do this as a full time gig.
