Correct me if I am wrong, but you never heard me say any of that about the Lakers. They are the NY Yankees of basketball and as such are willing to spend any amount of cash to bring marqee players to their forum, oops the staples center.

I have just made comments, and rightly so, that they have not been playing up to championship calliber. Game 3 was a valiant effort but was helped by very poor shooting by the Spurs. I didn't watch game 4 so I have no comment. Obviously the Lakers won so they held serve, but holding serve won't be enough, they must take one game at San Antonio, whichever one they take it will mean the series if they do.

As far as the Sharks are concerned, I refer you back to our phone conversation where I said, It wouldn't surprise me if the Flames upset the Sharks. Although it is beginning to look as though the Flames are simply the better team from both a defensive and work ethic standpoint.

Not looking good for the Sharks. One out of two in Calgary would be nice, but a 2 game sweep is very unlikely, possible and probably necessary for them to get back in this series.
