This is why you sign a backup as good as Wentz. So you don’t have to force Mahomes out there hurt especially when it looks like he could use a soft reset all the way around.

The knock on Wentz has been holding onto the ball too long and poor pocket presence.

That’s a horrible cocktail given our OL play. It could be a real problem.
