There was a doctor on 610 the other day that said that Mahomes should get surgery this off season on it to further stabilize it and stop it from continually reoccurring and I agree with him. This whole letting it heal naturally while playing on it thing clearly isn't working and it will just get worse the longer he plays so it's in his best interest to just nip it in the bud and try a more permanent fix.
But it's an optional surgery so the conversation was about if Mahomes wants to be in a boot for a few weeks and then rehabbing in the off season when he could instead be golfing, yachting, doing endorsement shit and just relaxing like he likes to do. |

Makes you more susceptible to an initial injury, but also allows him to recover much quicker. If all our ligaments are like rubber bands, his are A LOT more stretchy than average. |

You don't have to look at X-rays or physically examine someone to know a treatment method for an injury that's constantly reoccurring.
