I have no problems dropping back to pass on 1st and goal. I do have a problem when the play call is some cute exotic pass designed to go to some second or third stringer in an effort to trick a defense. My opinion is you have playmakers, use them, don't stick them in there as decoys. Either hand it off or get it to Gonzo. Boerighter should be an end zone threat too considering what he did a few years ago and his size. I have no idea what happened to him (though he may just suck now, I'm not blaming Saunders on that one, although I do think it is rediculous that we don't have a better reciever on the roster than Chris Horn, who has no business on this football team, I don't care how hard he works).

Frankly though I don't see why we don't go downfield to Gonzo more often. That's his strength, going up and getting the ball against smaller defenders. When we're at the 25-30 yard line we should take our shots at him downfield in the end zone more...
