Today is my 22nd Anniversary......

And I am lucky as heck......my wife is all the following and more:

1) Just as beautiful as she was when I married her 22 years ago...
2) The best cook that any man could ask for...
3) The most understanding and tolerant wife when it comes to realizing that Sunday afternoons during football season are mine...
4) The best family CFO any man could ask for.....the only person I know that can make $1 buy $10 worth of groceries...
5) The most patient person when it comes to handling a Special Needs child...
6) The person who somehow knows how to avoid bruising my delicate ego while never letting me embarass myself....
7) The best lover any man could ask for....

In other words, I would be nothing without her and I am everything I had hoped to be with her at my side.

So, babe, in case you peek in here as you are occasionally wont to do, please know I love you and you mean the world to me.

My wife and I had our 22nd this year as well and feel the same about her as your list. She has had to put up with a KC fan for so many years - our oldest son was born during a KC/Raiders game; it was a birthing room with a couch and TV so the doc and I watched Monday night football as the labor progressed to culmination (luckily after the end of the game).

BTW my son is a hardcore Chiefs fan with his room looking like a souvenir store.

Have to laugh about about you and the Doc watching the football game while she was in labor....gotta show my wife that one. Our daughter was born in January...and she left no doubt that my priorities should be understood.

Wow a Christmas wedding! You should be able get by with "this vacuum cleaner is for both the Anniversary and Christmas present" by now. You should try it next year.

My kids are always saying that as well as others and frankly isn't that the goal in life - to get old and have a meaningful and fun time along the way.

If you aren't getting older you are, ummm, well dead then, unless of course you are into botox where you don't look like it but you still smell like it.
