Trade rumor

There is a rumor floating around Jets fansites about a potential trade of Chad Penningon and Laverneous Coles for a KC's 1st and 4th round pick. Personally as a Jets fan I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat, but I was wondering if you guys have heard this rumor at all and what your thoughts are.

The Pennington/Coles trade fell through. On the other hand, my insider sources say that the Jets are seriously considering trading David Harris and Darelle Revis for Downfield Damon Huard.

Not likely at all, but if it WERE to go down like this, I'd burn all my Chiefs gear and become a donkey, faiduh, and chargirl fan. The trade outlined in the thread starter is that bad.

George Carlin wrote about this rumor in his weekly column. And Ted Nugent wrote a song about it.

I have to believe your right Guru. Bono, Elvis Grbac, Dave Kreig, Huard. Traded a first for a QB (Trent) that had a season ending injury with the Rams... Worked out for a few years but ya know Trent got old quick.

Traded up to get Ryan Simms, draftd Jr. Siavii, traded a fourth for Herm when Herm was probly going to be fired anyways, Oh that kicker yea from UCLA. Let's see um David Drummond.

I can't think of any thing that would make anybody think that Carl would be THAT STUPID.

this trade is about as likely as NY trading its 1st & 4th for Brodie Croyle and Eddie Kennison.

No shit the jets would take that trade in a heartbeat, ridiculous to even think those guys are worth that, lol

There is no chance in hell that Coles is even worth a 3rd.

He's always hurt, has a big contract and is old.

No thanks.
