Anyone wanna bet on another team?

I have to say that the Lakers having won 10 straight seem to be better than any of the last championship teams. Not only that but they are relaxed and having fun like none of the other teams ever have. It's weird watching Kobe joking with Shaq and Carl and Payton. The confidence is just oozing out of their pours. It's like they already know they have won it all. The D is playing great. Offensive boards are off the scale. This team has just beginning to gel and they are already unbeatable IMO. The only thing that can stop them now is a major injury or two.

I am not saying they cant win it all, they got alot of talent on that team, but the Lakers and the Hornets look VERY VERY strong and fast. Both of them teams are very young and can push the ball.

I'm not concerned with how the celtics will play against the Lakers or Hornets, they did pretty well against them durring the regular season.

During the season doesnt mean shit. In the play offs they have time to adjust as they are playing the same team for at least 4 games. During the season, you get 1 game and you cant really make an adjustment for the next game, and by the time you play them next to much time has passed.

I dont care who the hell the Lakers play, if the Lakers play the way they are supposed to, they will win. Its the post season, the best of the best is going to be there regardless.

ehh, what ever. It doesn't matter now, seeing as the finals aren't for another 2 to 3 months right?

Yeah, and we swept the Hawks too. Frankly, I'm not exactly seeing what I expected to see out of htis team. Losing game 6 in Atlanta was pathetic. I try to compare this team to the 80's Celtics, and they come up short.

Maybe the rest of hte league isn't as good as the 80s Lakers and Sixers, etc. too, so my expectations are too high. I dunno. I'm still watching, but my expectations are a bit lower now. We'll see. I'm 20 years out of date on NBA-stuff.

I liked their take on TNT when talking about the Lakers. Kenny Smith is like "The Lakers will get Bynum back next season as well which is like getting the first pick in the draft with experience that perfectly fits in with your team. That team is scary over the next 5 years."

Yea baby. I see Lakers taking over that most NBA titles title.
