I've only been around casual, out of town Cubs fans, so I didn't know this.

I just assumed when you total over 100 years of suck, you'd be a bit more humble.

Since the death of Mr. K, it's not really worth even putting the Royals in the same breath as the Cards. Luckily, it looks like this is changing. Like you, though, I generally wish good things upon all of the "local" guys.
