Sanchez could end up being a decent QB one day but he's always going to have a problem with ball control (he's been a fumbling machine so far and I don't know of a single QB that really ever corrects that, look at Dave Krieg and Culpepper) and pocket presence. Right now we'd still be 0-4 but look even less competitive if Sanchez were on this team starting.
