Think outside the box... what's the new fad?

First, look for anything that has to do with climate change. The simple fear of global warming is driving politics right now, and it seeps into all of the crevasses of society as it goes down that road. Still, common sense drives any other part of it...until it's 105 in March, wait until April or may to buy into the next smallest bikini-thong.

Second, as much as I hate to admit it, anime. Avatar just topped $1 billion worldwide, and I knew plenty of people in high school and college who loved the stuff and are now getting into their first real jobs.

Third, I don't study the economy much, so take it with a grain of salt.
