That's a tough one.

It's evident only a few of the girls had been taught to respect cops. Mix that with a few young kids that don't think they did anything wrong by Jaywalking and you get what we have here.

If a cop says anything to me I listen, even if I didn't do anything wrong.. I certainly don't walk away while saying smart ass remarks, and would never lay my hands on him/her.

I find it refreshing to see a relatively physically fit cop on the street. Must be a Pacific Northwest thing.

Haha that was awesome. Stupid ****ing chicks. Who the **** runs up and puts their hands on a cop and doesn't expect to get punched in the face. Lucky for her he didn't do much more than that, or there weren't 5 cops there.

glad I am not a cop, I would have swung my baton, pulled my gun, sprayed mase, tasered, riot control shotgun, smoke grenades something. Esp with the crowd of her friends/relatives all around. They would have made me too nervous.

I think we hold police officers to a standard higher than most of us could achieve. The reality is that they are human, and deal with crap day in and day out.

She clearly assaulted the police officer. I don't understand why anyone is upset that she got punched in the face.
The reason people are giving is because this incident began with the officer citing these kids for jaywalking, and according to some jaywalking should be ignored. Some people have latched on to the idea that she was punched for jaywalking, which is completely false.

Whether anyone likes it or not it or not Jaywalking is illegal in the same way that driving with a single, busted brake light is illegal. I don't think I should be cited for driving with a brake light out because it's really not that dangerous, but I accept that it is an infraction of the law no matter how trivial it seams to me. I would certainly not say or do anything to an officer that could be in any way be interpreted as a violent act.

Being cited by a police officer for an infraction that most people find trivial does not justify sociopathic, violent behavior toward authority. This woman (she is 19 and therefore a legal adult) has displayed a history of sociopathic behavior toward authority on more than one occasion. I just can't see how it can be excused because it began with the officer citing SOMEONE ELSE for jaywalking. This incident began with jaywalking but is about jaywalking no more. People, let go of the jaywalking part of the story and focus on what really happened. Violence against the police should not be tolerated under any circumstances where the police are legally enforcing the law.

I don't think so. He looked like he had some little bag or something. There is one point where one kid sort of starts walking up behind the cop and someone (I think the cameraman) says something like, "hey man, back off."

That's crazy! He even holds it like a gun. In the end, I don't think it was though. He turns and the shape looks different than a gun.

The punch accomplished what it should have.

Gal in the pink shirt backed off...way off, so the officer could address the original offender/resister. She never enters the scene again. Mission accomplished with the force.

Had he just talked/yelled at her, or shoved her back, he'd STILL be putting up with this slap-happy, twisting, silly-aggressive gals.

What a no-win situation for the cop.

It sounds like that cop had "weak game" weakgame although some women like to be turned on by drama and physicallity, punching a woman in the nose is no way to get slimed.

what he should have done is shouted at her..then turned to another woman and started to run game... A simple

Hey do you like pop tarts or toaster strudels would have gotten him a good opener with another chick at this outside club.

Demonpenz changing da game .

I have 2 favorite moves to attract women. Now if you are trying to get the best of the best like Hard body 10 or above.... make sure you show hi status. This is where I use the "too cool for school" attitude. Be careful though if you are trying to attract a girl that likes alt music..... it won't work.. Why? because hard body 10's and above like maroon 5...and you can't use maroon 5 tactics on girls who listen to alt music.

I didn't have a chance to read through this thread, but I did watch the extended version of the video. Given the situation, the cop had every right to subdue her the way that he did. Granted, that was a pretty hardcore punch to the face, but she did lunge at him and was resisting arrest. If that was a teenage boy instead of a girl, would this even be a topic of discussion?

Oh and I love how those disrespectful kids were screaming "FTP". This is exactly what's wrong w/ our society. You couldn't pay me enough to be a cop.
