The Kansas City Chiefs are the Champions of the AFC West division.

If the Chiefs win, or if the Chiefs and the Colts both lose next week, then the Chiefs will clinch the #3 seed and will very likely host the Jets, with an outside shot at hosting the Steelers.

If the Chiefs lose and Colts win, the chiefs will be the #4 seed and will likely be forced to play against the Ravens, maybe the Steelers, and only a small chance at the Jets.

So, basically we need to beat the Raiders to make sure we aren't stuck with the Ravens. The Jets are a much better matchup with us.
