The problem was the team lost several games late due to a variety of issues. Stanzi was actually much better in his senior year cutting down on his interceptions and increasing his completion percentage. The DC was ill most of the year and the defense gave away several games when they could not make adjustments. This was a team which could not switch away from its base defense in nickle and dime situations. We all know linebackers cannot cover wide receivers. Ferentz also became more conservative in the fourth quarter.

I appreciate the insight, I really would like to see Stanzi start.
