You're smoking the crack pipe. When and if those guys ever get fired (which would be at least 5 years from), it won't be because they didn't draft Geno Smith. It would be because they displayed Poili-esque suckitude over a long period of time, like ***** did. ***** wasn't fired because of Matt Cassel. ***** was fired for a hundred different reasons that all had the same root cause: his idiocy and arrogance.

No, they are not. After pulling the trigger on Pioli, Clark isn't going to jump the gun on Reid/Dorsey. They've got 5 years.

Excellent signing!
He's probably slightly inferior to Winston as a run blocker, but he's better in pass pro. DEFINITELY not a depth signing. He will start along this offensive line.

What?
If we pass on Geno and commit to Alex Smith, we are subjecting ourselves to mid first rounders the next few years. He isn't good enough to win it all with, nor is he bad enough to get us a top 5 pick. The existing talent on this team ensures that.

If we don't draft a guy high in the draft, we are stuck in the same repeating cycle we have been in FOREVER.

you know the drill...sort through other teams backups every couple years, try to decide if we can turn a Kevin Kolb into an Aaron Rodgers every year because we will be looking at the third or 4th best QB of each class.

Basically the Eagles of the last 4 years.

What did that get Andy Reid?

Unless the FO is willing to pay some exorbitant price to get a QB they want. If only they would give us some indication that they'd be willing to do such a thing.

Good QB's are starting to come out all over the draft. Kaepernick, Dalton, Rodgers, Wilson, Flacco etc etc.

If they want a new QB, they'll have plenty of opportunities to take a good one in better QB classes.

Two were first rounders..

Two were high seconds, one fell because he is a midget, how many of them have actually won a super bowl?

That's right. The two first rounders.
