It works both ways.

But you're defending using 1.1 to marginally upgrade a position of relative strength. It's not the style of the argument, its the content. You're just on the wrong side of this argument.

No, I'm not defending that at all. If it wasn't previously clear, I'm opposed to using the 1.1 to marginally upgrade any position, including both LT and QB. I'm pointing out that the four of you made absurd arguments.

If the Chiefs use the 1.1 on a tackle, I'm going to assume that they think it will be a substantial upgrade, not a marginal one and I'm going to hope that they're right.

Similarly, if they trade Tamba Hali and draft an OLB, I'm going to assume that they think the combination of the new player and the trade compensation is a substantial upgrade.
