The saving grace for Applebee's is the maple butter blondie. **** that's good.

Unfortunately, it's not good enough to endure everything else. Haven't been there in a couple of years.

Famous Daves is good....it is just not up to the Kansas City standard. Famous Dave's started in Minneapolis, and they are the dominated BBQ up there. Agree with this. Obv being in KC skews things but I went into my FD experience thinking it was gonna suck and went away being quite impressed.

That's about right. Dave's is the only BBQ joint here in town and it will do in a jam. It's nothing like good KC BBQ, or like I can knock out on my smoker.

For the most part, it's crap.

Somewhat "funny" story, funny to me at least. I had a bunch of friends go out to NY in November for the KU Kentucky game. They were speaking to a local about a good place to eat, somewhere local. The girl told them there was a Famous Daves across the street that was real good. Famous Daves in NY. I might have slapped that girl if I'd been there, haha.
