Where where you when JFK Died? (Realizing many of you were not yet born)
On November 22, 1963, when he was hardly past his first thousand days in office, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was killed by an assassin's bullets as his motorcade wound through Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was the youngest man elected President; he was the youngest to die....
![]() ![]() http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/jk35.html Just wanted to post in memory of JFK. I was only three months old when JFK was shot, but I've always found the stories people tell about where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news interesting. I was in the sixth grade. My school class, and many others, where in the downtown Kansas City Municipal Stadium watching the three ring Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus perform when the show stops and the Ring Master announced the shooting.

Like many of you I have been fascinated with the JFK assassination and have read a manure load. You learn real quick in doing this who is credible and who are not necessarily plants by the govt keeping the con of lone gunman theory going but willing to do the govt.'s bidding writing books and doing documentaries of mis-direction as it still goes on to this very day(Posner, Bugliosi, O'Reilly, among many others etc... But for those interested if I could recommend a few books that will not waste your time it would be 2 books by Lamar Waldron(Legacy of Secrecy and Hidden History of the JFK assassination) the next book would be by John Davis-Mafia Kingfish and then Jerome Corsi's book "Who really killed Kennedy" ? The books Hidden History of the JFK Assassination and "Who really killed Kennedy" are brand new off the press and I would probably recommend those first and if you want more in depth govt coverup info as well as the Mafia connection then read the Legacy of Secrecy and Kingfish second. Waldron and Corsi do their homework and are the first ones standing in line for the latest released info on the JFK assassination when the govt decides it wants to release more info(Freedom of Info Act). Understand there are still thousands if not millions of pages of research still not released on JFK and his death and the infamous "Babushka Lady" who was filming straight across from the "head kill shot' that looked up into the grassy knoll her film has never been seen. Why, if there was no grassy knoll shooter ? Good stuff for sure IF you are willing to read !! |

Yes there is ! It's not the assassination in and of itself but the 3 ring circus of misdirection for the last 50 yrs by the govt.

I don't know why things happen the way they do, But I know that there has always been some fishy sh%t that has accompanied the killing. Everything was taken care of so….efficiently. And, there are still some 500 pages that the CIA won't release (and probably never will) that most likely lays it out in great detail. Those were strange days. Strange strange days. |

I was 13 in the 8th grade at Southside Jr. High in St. Petersburg, Florida. I had just finished PE and had taken a shower when the coach came in the locker room and gave us the news. There was non-stop coverage on TV all week sort of like after 9/11 and I was captive to watching everything. I remember my dad took a break from watching and left to go hit golf balls. Soon after I saw Jack Ruby shoot Oswald live on TV, then I left on my bike to find him to tell him the news.
A few years later I was in the Army and was in Korea and had a lot of free time so whenever the bookmobile would come around I would checkout a book on the Kennedy Assassination. I remember one called 'Rush to Judgement' by Mark Lane. It had a lot of those facts that make you think there was a conspiracy. I believe now that Oswald was the only shooter but I'm not sure if he acted alone. I believe when Oswald was in New Orleans just a short time earlier he was handing out pamphlets for a group called 'Fair Play for Cuba'. The address of the organization was a known CIA operative site, well at least in Mark Lane's book it was. Also I always found it strange that Officer Tippet would stop Oswald clear across town with a description that would fit a 1/3 of the male population. I also remember that Officer Tippet was suppose to be a regular at Jack Ruby's Carousel Lounge. I always had the feeling Tippet was to take out Oswald, and when he didn't, Ruby took him out. Of course, that steers the arguments towards the Mafia and not the CIA. Last edited by DeepPurple; 11-22-2013 at 04:36 PM.. |

![]() Not trying to give you sh** here but anyone who has done a lot of target shooting and hunting with a rifle would beg to differ with your govt propaganda physics links you obviously buy into. Why would Jackie get up and go back to grab pieces of his skull and brain matter then if the shot was from the back ? She would be going forward to do that and Connelly's wife would have been wearing JFK's brain matter for sure but she wasn't. Kennedy's kill shot was from the front and done with a hollow point bullet that explodes on impact and you can clearly see from the film the movement of the flap of skull hair scalp that proves this upon impact not to mention when you actually pause the film right as the bullet hits Kennedy you can see 2 things, the skull and brain matter shoot up and and go back but even more revealing is you can see the rear of Kennedy's head which shows no impact from the rear when the kill shot is made. That brain matter doesn't shoot up and go back IF the kill shot is coming from the rear but rather is all over Mrs. Connolly. ![]()

You know there's so many theories of things that are certainly possible.
Was Oswald a lone gunman nut? Possible. But I tend to lean toward it being a CIA black op. A Coup D'Etat, like Jim Garrison said in the movie JFK. We were a year removed from the Cuban Missile Crisis and two years removed from the Bay of Pigs fiasco. The military was pissed at JFK for not being allowed to invade Cuba during the missile crisis, and for not being allowed to support the Cuban Exile fighters with air cover during the Bay of Pigs. The Cuban Exiles were pissed for having their wangs left swinging in the air in the Bay of Pigs and blamed Kennedy, although the operation was all planned during IKE's administration. The Mafia hated the Kennedys (especially Bobby) because of his anti-racketeering crusade as attorney general. LBJ hated the Kennedys because he wanted to be the presidential nomination in 1960. JFK asked him on the ticket because without winning Texas, he loses the election to Nixon. He won by 1/4 of 1% in 1960, and without LBJ, he loses for sure. The Kennedy brothers treated LBJ like a lap dog, and he resented that. He thought Kennedy was a lousy senator, and basically belittled JFK to anyone who would listen prior to 1960. Also, LBJ was facing an investigation into his personal finances. He had made millions of dollars on gaining broadcasting rights to radio and TV stations in Texas, peddling influence. Lots of the money was paid to Lady Bird, but LBJ was behind it. Also, he was getting kickbacks from a former Senate staffer who was caught falsifying records in propane sales across Texas, and making money from propane tanks that didn't exist and were never delivered. Once JFK was shot, the investigation on both counts went away. Whoever the conspiracy was, they had a fear that if people found out Oswald had been in Russia, that the masses may have thought Oswald was a trained Russian assassin, and it could ignite WWIII. So there was a lot of heavy shit flying around at the time. Also, Nixon was in Dallas the morning of the assassination. He had been at a function the night before. LBJ went to Cliff Murchison's Dallas Mansion, and had dinner with a bunch of Texas Oilmen (that included Lamar Hunt's dad HL Hunt). There's even a picture of somebody who looks extremely similar to George HW Bush standing in front of the TSBD right after the shooting. Bush was in the CIA when this all went down. Gerald Ford was on the Warren Commission. LBJ put John Foster Dulles on the Warren Commission. Dulles HATED JFK because he fired him as head of the CIA. So, there's a LOT of crazy leads and nutty possibilities here. Not to mention the botched autopsy, the magic bullet, the disappearance of witnesses, Oswald's assassination, etc etc etc. |

One of my first memories. I was 4 at the time and attending nursery school. Got out at 11 or 12 and was home with my Mom watching tv. I'll never forget Cronkite on the news. I learned a distrust for the guberment at that early age. The riderless horse on burial day and the drums were also ingrained in my mind forever
