If he was a 1 year wonder and doesn't sign a long term deal he cost himself a bunch of money...

The draft is a crapshoot...QB's are a crapshoot...there is a reason why Pioli has a few executive of the year awards...

It's because we're drafting at 3. #3 is a place where you can get the best QB available, where we normally pick, in the teens and 20's you cannot.

I don't see Cassel signing a contract worth $30M guaranteed...and the Chiefs offense will surely be built to fit his strengths...lets say he has a money season...

Banks $15M guaranteed and then works out a huge contract next year.

If the Chiefs take Sanchez and keep him...fine. You won't see me rooting against either guy...and chances are one (or both) would turn out to be great QB's.

I don't see it happening. However, I trust Pioli so you aren't going to see me bitch.

That's best case scenario...but it's also very unsafe for him..

He has a bad year, he has 1 big pay out year and then goes back to making peanuts and doesn't have a contract that a team is married to.

If I was Cassel I'd want a huge freaking deal, especially moving from a team loaded with talent to one with not so much.
