That's dumb. Why would they trade for Gonzalez when they have Crumpler?

That was Vernon Davis. Amazing speed. I wouldn't mind seeing him here.

I would consider replacing Gonzo with Davis. Gonzo may be on the downside of his career, while Davis looks very interesting. It would certainly be cheaper.

Vick can only complete passes to tight ends, why not bring in another?

Considering TG spent the first half of the year blocking-I think he put up descent numbers. Anything less than a high 2nd and a 4th thrown in, would be a wasted gamble.

Trade him to NYJ for their first round pick, then we select Mario Williams, and then Rodrique Wright in the 2nd round. Then maybe we'd have some money for FA. I'd be happy with that. It wont happen though.

Then the next season's draft we just focus on the OL and our secondary, because thats where we are old at. Draft a CB or OT depending on if Roaf plays another year, or if theres a CB that we can not pass up on.

Probably a 3rd rounder.

With his reputation I'd like to think we'd get more, but everyone knows he's been around for awhile and even though he has gas left in the tank, he's probably still seen as an aging vet on the downhill side of his carrer.

I would also insist on the pie to go along with that pick. Maybe key lime.
