Herm was hired because he was Carl's buddy and Peterson didn't want any kind of power struggle like he experiences with Marty Shottenheimer.

Bradford is the best QB prospect in the country. Way different than Huepel and White. He has the arm, talent, smarts to be a stud in the NFL. Also he is a redshirt sophomore which means he is eligable for the draft this year if he wants.

I forgot about that, you are right. He did redshirt.The whole Rhett Bomar fiasco is what gave Bradford the opportunity to start and he hasn't given anyone any chance to take his job. What I really like about watching him play is that he makes VERY FEW mental errors, and virtually no mistakes from trying to force something that isn't there. As you said he is a very smart quarterback, and I agree that he will be very successfull in the pros.
