Haley said he hated them as kid, we'll just have to see if it's carried over as an adult.

I did not know that he hated them.

This is a good sign. If I were the coach of any team playing the Raiders or the Broncos, you bet your ass my hatred of them would be conveyed upon my team.

I think I remember him stating his hatred of the Raiders as a kid during one of his first press conferences when he was hired. I don't have time to look, but I'm sure someone can provide a snippet.

Untill both are good again who cares? It is like the KU vs KSU games from the early 80s. Two bad football teams playing a game that nobody outside of their fan bases care about.

But there is a fan base here on Chiefs Planet, that's why we care. I don't care if the Chiefs are headed for 2-6 wins, it doesn't take away the enjoyment of beating those ass clowns.

Gawd, I hope so. Football was so much more fun when you knew your team had a deep, intense hatred for the opponent.

The sort of hatred that you wouldn't let your own daughter marry one of their fans.

The sort of hatred where you'd stick your feet out and trip anyone wearing a Faiders jersey at the office.

The sort of hatred where your church's pastor, in a fury of excitement, bellows out expletives during the Sunday mass.

The sort of hatred where the entire city stops whatever they are doing to watch the game.

The sort of hatred where both teams rack up penalties as though they were medals.

I hope Haley brings back that sort of hatred Marty had in those days. It just makes football that much more fun.

And to you Faiders fans: nlm
