This woman was lucky, she lived... Drive that car into a pole hard in the Walmart parking lot, do not leave that lot, your odds of living drastically decrease. This happened right up the road from me.



Police: Woman kidnapped in Winston-Salem, sexually assaulted in Mount Airy


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C—The Winston-Salem and Mount Airy Police Departments are investigating a kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred at the Walmart on Hanes Mill Road Monday night.
According to police, the female victim was shopping at the Walmart on Hanes Mill Road around 10:30 p.m.,when she left her car unlocked while returning a shopping cart.
When she returned to her vehicle and drove off, she discovered a man hiding in the backseat.
The suspect then forced the victim to drive to the Mount Airy area, where he sexually assaulted her, according to authorities.

on a more serious note, I sent this article to my daughter. she's 19 and thinks she's invincible. (no pics....**** off). when you're that age you really do think it only happens to someone else. I had to fight with her to get her to carry mace. it's gonna be a WW3 throwdown when she is old enough to carry!

Just make a copy of National Riflemen's self defense stories every month.


I had my wife read those and she was ready to be armed to the teeth within a few months.


Our CCL instructor told us the story about an 18 year old girl that was in her first year of college. She went home, but a guy was waiting for her. She was repeatedly raped in her bed.

She had a revolver in the headboard, but never used it to defend herself.

Her reason: She had never shot it.

Take your daughter out to the range and spend whatever amount of $$$ on ammo to get her comfortable with the gun of choice.

we live on a deadend road in smallish town. when my bullmastiff Tank died I told my wife, that's it, dogs dead and kids are old enough (I have two)....time for guns. we all went to a 4 hour course on handguns. my daughter was not happy about it but I made her go. after 4 hours of class we went into the range and she didn't want to shoot. instructor told me let her be. I told him back off, she's my daughter, leave the parenting to me. she shot. she shot very very well. I pity the fool! that girl can shoot.
we have a firearm readily available on all 3 levels of our house and a new bullmastiff just in case.
having said that...when she's old enough to carry I don't think I'll be able to convince her to do so. maybe I'll throw some of those defense stories at her.

westport is extremely sketch. tons of kc's finest crackhead guys go there on the weekends. luckily kcmo is trying to clean it up and theres been a ton of cops there on nights on all the major corners when ive been out down there with friends. just make sure she knows not to venture down any alleys by herself or even one other.
