I'm alternate day fasting. Ask me anything
Down 45 pounds and hit a plateau. Couldn't move the scales so I decided to alternate day fast and it seems to have triggered the next level of weight loss.

1 week in.

Fasted Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Plan to graze in the pasture this weekend and start over Monday.

I do 24 hour fasts.

There is a hormone that gets released right around the time you usually eat and it makes you feel hungry (sometimes starving) but it eventually goes away after you don't eat and you feel totally fine.

Some people have to be careful with blood sugar drops and feeling lightheaded, though. For whatever reason, I have not had those issues so far.

I'd really love to do a 30 day fast, I've quit my blood pressure meds two months ago, But I take Carvedilol for my heart and I'm not sure how a long fast would effect that. It's the only med I'm on and a doctor put me on it two years ago after a stress test . I think he was just doing SOMETHING so he could say he's a doctor.
