Your expectations for Eric Berry's (hopeful) return

It sounds like the Chiefs are expecting EB to practice next week (though that doesn't necessarily mean he'll actually play in a game yet). Just thought it'd be interesting to check the pulse of ChiefsPlanet in terms of expectations.

I don't care what fans think I just hope the team doesn't count on this that much.
Almost 2 full years of not playing is going to show he's human. If he comes back great but you're good without him. Don't pin hopes on this let it just be a bonus.

hes going to running around all over the field making plays and laying big hits..

he'll be ready. . i think our success (9-2 record) and the type of injured allowed him to be patient. .

when hes on the field he'll bring it. .

if im on offense id be scared of a fresh Eric Berry in week 13 or 14. .

My heart says he will make a difference, my head says he won't finish the season and will rupture the second achilles tendon due to lack of actual playing time.

Unless this was a scripted "cancer survivor returns from the ashes to lead KC to first SB in 49 years" narrative...I fully expect Berry to be another plaque hung on the infamous "what if" wall of Chief's ineptitude.

He’s going to come back with a vengeance and shut all his haters up!! He’ll have a family reunion in Georgia when we are representing the AFC in the Super Bowl! Then he’s going to be pimping the Cadilac he wins for game MVP while saying “keep doubting me Mother****ers!”

Zero expectations. If he plays well one game, the tendonitis may return and he'll sit two. Who knows? Until Berry gets surgery, the tendonitis will be an issue.

I have no clue.

I think he'll come back and play but who knows how long he'll last. Could come back and be a solid contributor or last for a quarter.

I'm 50/50

I sincerely *hope* that he plays and that he plays at a high level. Unfortunately, I don;t think it’s going to happen. Time will tell and I hope to hell that I’m wrong...

If he can get through practice this week I think he'll be a major factor, especially in the red zone and cleaning up the run defense.

If he can't, waste of time.
