Have you ever looked at LT's stats?

27 years old with 100TD's and after this season he'll have over 10,000 yards. He's way under 30. He will break yards and td records for all RB's. Good bye Emmit.

Damn he's a bad ass.

I'm not sure about the particulars, but i'll bet they were pretty much 1 at a time.

Lomas Brown was the only rock he had that i know about.

We had two pro bowlers on the o-line last year. Would you say we had a good o-line last year?

Good yes, Great no... Play-calling is what killed this team the most last year... Its hard to be great at anything if you telegraph the plays the whole season...

I'd say it's more like putting 10k on a car in 12 months as apposed to putting 7k on a car in a month and a half.

The point remains.

LT has more work total on his body. But LJ has intense wear in a short period of time, which in many ways is much worse.

Right, LT is the 7 year old car that they've been driving at 70 MPH down the highway for 6 seasons...

LJ is the slightly younge version that sat in the garage half the time early on, then the old lady took it out and stood on the gas going 90.

I still say Johnson has about three all-pro type seasons left in him, and that's fine with me.

And what makes LT even more amazing is:

LJ was Born: 11/19/1979

LT was Born: 06/23/1979

Lt is basically 5 months older and has managed 6 great seasons in 6 years... compared

To LJ's 2 great seasons in 4 years...(yes it is unfortunate that he had to sit behind Priest, but Priest was great when he was here not hurt...)

Not a shot on Larry, just saying how amazing LT has been with his career so far...

Barry Sanders > LT now

I will never put any RB above Barry Sanders, so the best LT can do in my opinion is tie him for best RB of all time.

And LT can juke the shit out of people. I don't know what Buehler445 is thinking. Ask Ty Law.

I must be a different breed.
I have no difficulty hating SD and that goes for Seattle when they were around and sucked.
Being a division rival is all the motivation I need.

Based on your criteria, Gale Sayers was teh best of all time.

He could do the same things as Sanders, only better, was faster, and unlike Sanders, rarely lost yardage.

gale was good, no doubt in my mind... however, he rarely had to face five guys in the backfield when he got the handoff

I was just stating my opinion. They are two different types of runners. Thats not to say LT never jukes, he does a lot of things well, but not to the level that Sanders did. That statement was made to reinforce the fact that they are two different types of runners and as a result, difficult to effectively compare.

LT had 4 rushing TDs today and tied up Jim Brown for 4th all time on the Rushing TD's list with 106 Rushing TDs...

He also passed The Diesel (Riggins) in this game...

He is 4 TDs away from tying Walter Payton for 3rd all time, 17 TDs away from tying Marcus Allen for 2nd all time, and 58 away from tying Emmitt Smith for 1st all time.

He is also about 300 yards away from 10,000 Rushing Yards for his career...

Hes 21st on the career rushing yards list, and can reallistically end the season at 16th.
