Sign Orton!

I don't care if this bandwagon smells of piss and is rolling on a donut. At least it rolls...for now!

I'm on this bandwagon until it is pulled over for a DUI!

Sign Orton....**** this Cassl+Daboll talk.

Disclaimer: Yeah I would rather trade up and draft a top-tier QB. But that aint happening...

Not meaning to go full Pioli here, but there hasn't exactly been anyone "franchise QB" worthy available at the time the Chiefs drafted.

Hooray we could have Sanchez or Clausen

If Cassel is the only alternative, then yes. Orton all the way.

Dumb question, but...

Can we begin discussing a new contract with him before March 13th since he was last under contract with us? Or do we have to wait like other teams?

I would rather have Cassel as weird as that sounds. Reason for that is neither him, nor Orton are good enough to take us all the way. At least with Cassel running the ship he can finally prove to Pioli that he is awful (and does not deserve a place in Pioli's personal ring of honor) and we might finally address the QB situation. With Orton the circle of QB life in KC continues on as it ever has.

No, let Stanzi get a shot & draft a ****ing got damn muther ****ing QB! Muther **** **** **** ****

Orton can bring the good, the bad & and the Fugly on any given sunday. The good will give us a win, the bad will keep us in mediocre land & the fugly will be getting our ass kicked yet again if we happen go to playoffs. Worse is that we will waist yet another season on a draft pick prospect aka Stanzi or prospect of drafting one in this years draft. 40+ years Super Bowl removed & "True Fans" continue to pine for reerun retreads. ****ing dumb.

I'd rather have Orton. He really didn't have all that fair of shake in Denver. They shipped out his best receivers... at a time when the offense was moving along pretty well. The replacement receivers had injury issues. Then they brought in the living legand with a 1st round draft pick, and were pressured into a QB controversy that everyone pretty much knew was going to go Tebows way.

My guess is Orton is better than everyone gives him credit for being. He sort of showed that here, without the benifit of even playing with our offense before. And he probably has a serious chip on his shoulder about being replaced by a FB/TE.

So you'd say he's a bacon wrapped turd?
