For once I get to sit back, watch, point, and laugh at the other teams who hinge their immediate futures on unproven backup QBs. Or at least I hope I will. I'm anticipating that Mallett and Cousins will both be traded. You just need a team in a bad enough draft position who's dumb enough to make those deals.

What do you think?

I think McGloin is a dangerous QB... ticks me off he's on the dark bus, but it's the short bus too so I'm not too worried.

Vick can't read defenses, and he is a poor decision maker as a result.

I think the Pats would be stupid to trade Mallett, they've been grooming that guy for several years and Brady isn't getting any younger, he's just one good crushing tackle away from missing a bunch of games.

Is there a possibility that someone tries to trade for Chase Daniel? His start in week 17 was solid. Matt Flynn got GB a first round pick from one good game. I'm not saying anyone would give a first for him. But maybe a 3rd? I would love to see KC get an extra pick in the top 100 to somewhat offset the 2nd that went for Alex. Then it opens up the opportunity to draft a QB high.

It's crazy to think about how the Seahawks were one of those sucker teams in 2012 when they got Matt Flynn. Fortunately their organization wasn't so stuck on Flynn that they made him the starting QB for four years like the Chiefs did with Cassel.

Seattle signed Flynn in free agency, they didn't trade for him
