Our Gunboats were repeatedly attacked and 1 even sunk by the Japanese, resulting in the death of several Marines. Not sure what a "real" reason would be to declare war, but the unprovoked attack, killing & capture of US soldiers & civilians seems pretty good to me.

Again, only because they involved Asians, were we not willing to get involved. Roosevelt admitted he "overlooked" Japans aggression only because he wanted to fight the Germans.

No, I was not aware that any Americans were involved in that fight, let alone any of them died. Please provide your evidence.
