Thigpen was evaluated by the team Doctors yesterday. This wasn't a scheduled evaluation or appointment.The visit was to see if in their opinion Thigpen will be fully healed within 2 weeks and send those results to another doctor. He won't be healed in 2 weeks. The doctors think another 4 weeks until fully healed.

Speculation: Arizona wanted a gaurantee that Thigpen would be fully healed within 2 weeks before pulling the trigger on the Bouldin trade.

Take it for what its worth....

With so many other needs, yes.

And that's IF Arizona would settle for a late second round pick, which I doubt.

Plus, I don't think that Clark Hunt is willing to fork over the dough that Boldin is requesting.

I've said since December that Clark Hunt wasn't going to spend any significant money in free-agency until the stadium was completed.

In December, he threw in another $75 million of his own money for certain renovations (and that's on top of the $250 million that Jackson County taxpayers paid).

I don't think he's going to throw down another $30 million for a 28 year-old WR at this point in time.

That doesn't sound like a good trade to me.

I think there are certain exceptions to the "over 30" rule. Given that Boldin's game doesn't depend upon speed, he might well be one of the exceptions.

Plus, KC is going to need to make a legit. push for the playoffs in 2011.
