Looks like a deliberate terrorist attack.

Six confirmed dead, over one thousand injured.

I was just listening to Caspar Weinberger on Fox and he said that under such a senario. That's Standard Operating procedure. That is to shoot it down.

If no one claims responsibility, I say take the CIA's list of known terrorist groups and begin crossing off names with a big red marker...as they are killed. Begin with the most obvious, like Bin Laden and the Palestinians, and work your way down to Hodgie and his dog. Kill them all, and anyone else that gets in our way. "F" the U.N., "F" China, "F" Russia, and "F" the Middle East.

I can't help but wonder if biological and chemical weapons are next.

What if those planes in NYC had something like anthrax on board? Unlikely, but certainly possible.

While it is SOP to shoot down hijacked planes, they would never shoot down a plane over a highly populated area...

This is obviously a terrorist attack... my money would be on Osama Bin Laden and his fundamentalist cronies...
