Kap has a worse win %, care to explain?
Cassel rode along for a 21-11 record, to play devil's advocate.

Pfffft, but Cassel is complete garbage. I bet he never started a season 3-0.

No, I'm not implying that at all. I'm stating facts.

Based on his statistics of a TD a game and under 200 yards passing, I'd say this is accurate.

Over the last 3 seasons...

Beat:
Saints
Packers
Seahawks
Steelers
Bengals
Cowboys

Lost to:
Giants
Ravens

The 2 teams he lost to ended up winning the Superbowl. You were saying?

I think I was the Only one that said 11-5. It is easier to predict 10 wins after 3 straight to start the year.

Oh and with 0 running game and 0 time to throw and 0 guys open downfield.

Alex will lose eventually so at least you guys will be happy for a week-the Alex sucks bandwagon with Sweet daddy as your driver-will be in high gear-lol

Where in the world did you come up with that?

He then went 4-11 as a starter in 2009.

He was 14-16 going into 2010 even after winning 10 starts in NE in 2008.

I cant figure out any way even with the 10-6 season his loss record went backwards.

Maybe I am missing the time frame you are referring to but I cant make it work.

I used his 2 best seasons. The pats went 11-5.

You do realize Kap completing 56% of his passes and throwing 4 picks (and a fumble I think) in 3 games may have something to do with his defense giving up more points?

After Alex wins again this week- I look forward to all the haters pulling his Little League stats out and comparing them to Cassel to show how terrible we have it. lol

No, but I think it's the only one I've been sucked into recently, because this topic is just so mind boggling/numbing. It's like out of thousands and thousands of Chiefs fans, only 4 remember going through this a few years ago.

I hated the trade and draft strategy, because it was "hell yes, a new regime!" followed by the same old shit. I don't hate Alex Smith and I don't hate watching him. The Eagles game was fun, but I'm not going to act like the wasted field position and FGs didn't bug me (and I know, new system, bad line, bad play calling, injuries, giving him time, etc). FFS, it's been 3 games and they're 3-0. I can, shockingly, enjoy games and then come here to debate, with no misery involved.

This entire discussion is about his ability to lead the team somewhere it hasn't been in 2 decades, which has little to do with the first 3 weeks of his first season here, just like Cassel going 3-0 in 2010. I assume I don't have to go into details on that... it'll be awesome if he can but not holding my breath, etc; I've only explained it 4000 times in this thread.
