Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex: 11 wins
Geno: 8 wins

I doubt Geno sees a play off game this year.

If the season ended today, the Jets would be the 6th seed.

Pretty crazy given all the injuries they've had on offense.

The Jets making the playoffs would be so great for Geno. Great for him to get that rookie experience, and would guarantee he gets a second season as their starter, which isn't a thing 2nd round QBs always get.

I would really, really love for him to show if he can improve in his 2nd year.

Eh, I'd like to see them do that against a good team first before I buy their supposed offensive renaissance. The Steelers let Matt Cassel tear them a new one in the clutch this year.... 'nuff said.
