I was in third grade and I went to the bathroom and on the way walking past the bathroom I heard the nurses in the nurses office talking about the fact the president had been shot. I went back to class, told my teacher and she made me stand in the corner for an hour for saying such a horrible thing

I had a similar experience with the Challenger, only I was already standing in the corner.

Communication has come a long way since then, and I am not sure it is completely for the better.

Now almost everyone in the class would have known instantly due to their phones.
