Dan lives here in my hometown of Bend Oregon and not only have I spoken to him many times he's also visited my rotary. Super nice guy and he rarely talks about football though he always answers questions about his history (Oregon Duck) and current job.

Sorry bud, just because you know the guy it doesn't make him a quality commentator. You can understand how you'd be a bit bias, no? As it stands he's towards the way bottom of my list, right along with Dierdorf, Wilcots, and Gus Johnson when he was doing NFL games.

Of course it's all opinion anyways. I like Cris Collinsworth, and Mayock. I know lots of folks that hate those two. My favorite is probably Tim Ryan.
