football doesn't matter much any longer...
When you get a text at 2 am indicating your Pops had been admitted to the hospital with after suffering a coronary. Sitting here waiting for 2 hours with no news kinda blows but I presume he will get cleaned out and be fine in a couple days. He's 64.

Update: He's fine. Two stents and he'll be home in 2 days. Pretty minor by today's standards but he'd be dead if this were 30-40 years ago.

I was going to say this Phil, he should be fine. I am so glad to hear they caught it early.

He is the same age I am, and the medical technology in this area is amazing now. I have had my 4 stints now for 6 years.

We just had Dad's 90th last Friday, and he is clear living evidence of the cardiology profession.
You should take this as a warning though, as genetics are one of the 5 main contributors to this problem, the one you can't control.
