Seriously. The loss of Charles doesn't even need explanation. Coaches are furiously going over blocking assignments on the sideline with Davis. They lose Avery and the Colts defense no longer has to worry about the receiver most likely to hurt them deep.

The injuries change the way the Colts defend, the playcalling, and Smiths timing.

If ever there was an excuse for an offense to stall, KC had it today.
^These. We lost a guy who was in the running for league MVP after the sixth play and lost our #2 receiver (knowing how awful the backups are) and our up and coming #2 RB. Yet those are not excuses apparently when we lose. This team is supposed to overcome all of that, but when other team suffers injuries it seems to be a valid excuse for losing. This loss is on Sutton and the defense. Sure they generated turnovers and the offense capitalized. That makes them a wash. This defense failed to hold a 28 point lead. The offense scored 44 points and the team lost. Only fools blame it on the offense.
