4-3 end through and through. It would be tough to bring him in and try to turn him into a 3-4 OLB.

The 6-foot-2, 243-pound Ford projects best as an edge rusher in a 3-4 defense. He played defensive end in college, but he doesn't have the size to do that in the NFL. In a 4-3 defense, Ford would have to play as a linebacker who rushes off the edge in passing situations, similar to Von Miller in Denver. Adding in this Senior Bowl performance, Ford should be an early-round pick.

If his stock shoots up in the Top 15 it'll be interesting who falls in the 20-25 range.Which one always does unexpectedly like Aaron Rodgers and DJ did in their draft. Both were expected to go in the top 5.

There will be plenty of good players who can contribute from day 1 available at pick 23.

You seem fairly well studied on this draft and have been offering solid takes.

You should start a thread and list out your top 50, big board style.

Would be more inclined to look at prospects who would be available around our first pick and 3rd round pick since we don't have a second.

I think I was thinking of Michael Sam. He looked out of place when asked to drop in coverage and play in space. Ford was pretty smooth everywhere though, so my bad.
