Agreed, which is why I think he'd be a solid fit with the Bengals. He'd be asked to do a lot less with that defense. Also, lets not act like he wasn't an NFL MVP candidate just a few short years ago. His decisions are bad, but not Cassel bad.

I think he will be out of the league by then. He has a FEW solid years left. Which is why someone needs to take advantage of this while they still can.

I dunno man. I'm thinking he's definitely on the decline. He may have a solid season or two left but I really think he has difficulties grasping new systems. I know Dalton had his issuesast year but I don't think the Bengals will tailor an offensive scheme around an aging QB.

What exactly would teams be taking advantage of?

Year after year, everyone gets excited about these athletic QBs that can make plays with their legs.

Year after year, it's the QBs that make plays from the pocket that win SBs.

Oh, I don't know.... how about the fact that he's fastest QB in the NFL paired with arguably the best arm in the NFL?

Last two SB's have featured running QB's. Granted Wilson passed more than ran, but do you think if Peyton didn't have feet made of stone that game would have been a little more competitive?

Wilson is a pocket passer with the ability to make plays with his legs.

Kaepernick is, at this point in his career, a running QB with a strong.

In their respective SBs, when they needed to make plays with their arms, Wilson delivered, Kaepernick didn't.

The same can be said in their matchup against each other in the NFC Championship this year.

I am not suggesting that "statues" win, though you could argue that a statue won last year against a running QB with an arm.

I am telling you that SBs are won by QBs that make plays with their arms, and their heads.

That, in no way, despite the cannon, describes Vick.

Go take a look at Vick's 2010 and 2011 season. Are those the stats of a QB that lacks play making ability using their arm and a plastic bag for a brain? I mean honestly? Your giving him such little credit it's ridiculous. I never said he was elite. I said he could start somewhere... which he most definitely can and will.

Are you new here?

Stats mean jack to me.

My opinion is based on my observations, not numbers.

Vick can't read defenses, and he is a poor decision maker as a result.

Couldn't agree more. That will happen this year, no doubt.

It's crazy to think about how the Seahawks were one of those sucker teams in 2012 when they got Matt Flynn. Fortunately their organization wasn't so stuck on Flynn that they made him the starting QB for four years like the Chiefs did with Cassel.

Who gives a shit? They acquired a QB they thought would start but also drafted a young guy and then started him over the guy they had invested 26 million dollars in.

I don't care if KC acquired Cassel by hook or by crook, their overzealous commitment to him regardless of the results was devastating.

It wont decline enough for the qb position. He will be who he is scrambling wise his whole career. He will retire before his scrambling/running ability effects how he plays the qb position.
