Who are the sucker teams who will trade for a starting QB this offseason?

For once I get to sit back, watch, point, and laugh at the other teams who hinge their immediate futures on unproven backup QBs. Or at least I hope I will. I'm anticipating that Mallett and Cousins will both be traded. You just need a team in a bad enough draft position who's dumb enough to make those deals.

What do you think?

If the Texans go defense with 1.1, I bet they trade for Mallet. In fact, early on I was pretty sure that was going to be the case. However, recently there is much talk about them going with Johnny Football at 1.1.

If Houston is smart, they'll take Manziel.

Forget about winning games, football is about sales. Manziel staying in Texas would be ****ing BANK.

You got THAT right. That's definitely what the majority of the population wants. Rumor has it that the owner is with them. However, O'Brien likes tall pocket passing QB's for the NFL and really likes Mallet from his time spent in New England...Sound familiar?

That would just be so sad.

On the flip side, can you believe this is the third time the Texans have had the first overall pick? I'm starting to think they are destined to **** it up.

They need to draft Manziel, purely because if he sucks, everyone will blame the player, not the franchise. You have a get-out-of-jail-free card by taking the most electric, in-state college player at a position of need.

Done and done. Moving on.

Now... St. Louis needs to take Clowney. They can still go with offensive line with their other first rounder and come back in the second for another pass catcher.

I agree. They already passed at drafting one of their own in Vince Young a few years back. Not only did he go to college in the state but also went to Houston Madison HS. Turns out it was the right move but Mario Williams, who they chose instead, isn't with the team any longer....I bet this time around they do end up taking Manziel.
