Official Laker-Hater Championship thread. Whining encouraged!!

Leave it to the JailBlazers to tank their game against the lowly Clippers to avoid meeting the San Antonio Spurs in their bracket.

Leave it to the 3-Time Champs to exude class by whomping up on the lowly Warriors to secure the #5 seed and eventually match-up with the Spurs in the next round.

That "whoosh" you hear is from the Cowtown Euros as they get a cakewalk to the Western Finals by playing the Utah Greybeards and then the defenseless Cuban Cigars.

The Staples Crew will EASILY dispatch those toothless T-Cubs before a BIG match-up against the Boot Accessorizors. This will be a huge test for the Champs but they will eventually prevail before the long awaited match-up with the Farmers.

Once past the Spurs, the Lakers will throttle the Kings and send that franchise reeling. Rumor has it that Brittney Spears is already scoping out Mark Madsen for a date to the NBA Finals.

Unlike the Detroit Red Wings complete choke job in this years NHL Finals, the Big Aristolte has his crew all primed for a Quatro.

Long live the Lakers dynasty and their loyal fans.

Long live the venomous hatred of those unfortunate souls who continue to slander this great organization.

As Kobe said tonight in the post game interview;

What are you talking about I have been here the entire time talking with you about the games. You can joke all you want about the Dying-sty but bottom line is won't take much to make that team come back and spank the Queens like they have always done before. MOF, they are just one good power forward away from being there. There will be changes made in LA at the end of the season but to say that the Lake show is dying just because they may not win their 4th consecutive title is assinine. The Queens will never win 3 straight titles.

He's too busy trying to give the Queens credit for the Lakers downfall so I would take what he says with a grain of salt. Like what happened last May has ANY baring on what has happened this year. He has to try to give the Queens some type of moral victory over the Lakers because they are never good enough to take a playoff series from them.

The Queens will never win two straight titles, and even winning one is going to be a stretch. But let him continue to gloat. No matter what happens to the Lakers this season ( and I have gone on record saying they won't win this Spurs series) I will make sure to pull up these posts when the Queens pull their annual playoff choke job.

What's funny is they are still crying about last season, good god get over it already. If he thinks this is the end of Kobe and Shaq getting titles he needs to get off the crack pipe. BTW, did you see Webber crying his eyes out about the officiating when they were already killing the Mavs? I would hate to think that the NBA would need to hire a crew to follow all these guys around and wipe up all their tears all the time. Certainly NOT what I want to see in a champion. IMO the Queens will have their hands full if the Spurs are playing like they are right now. I think I would have to pull for the Spurs in that series if it happens even though I could really could care less who wins. If the Lakers can't win it I would like to see David Robinson leave on a high note. The man is a class act.

I love the Kings with all my heart, but I honestly think this might be the Spurs' year. But; I would just like to see them play the Lakers and hopefully get the jinx off their back. Alway's remember ---- it's tough to beat the team that's always there at the end of the year ---- like the Laker's. That's either down 2-0, or being a 5th seed like the Lakers. ( not sure what their seeding was )...... But; the Laker's have no bench --- something the Kings do have. On the other hand ---- the Spur's have the twin tower's. But; I do believe the champ will come from the Western Conference. The Eastern Conference just doesn't play tough and rough enough. Not even Kenyon Martin. I honestly picked the Spur's or Kings to win it all this year. I just hink there's toooooooo much finger pointing going on with the Lakers. Funny thing is ---- Phil Jackson just seems to let them work it out ---- or crumble. Well See !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think again. I use the word Dying-sty to indicate this season. Shaq and Kobe are the 2 best players in the league. You're right. I'd be nuts to think it's all over for them winning championships. All they need to do is give them a better collection of players, for what they have... it's like this, Shaq is peanut butter. Kobe is jelly. Where's the bread, apart from the stale and moldy bread that's there?

And this series isn't over either... haven't you heard a series doesn't mean anything until the home team loses? Until the Dying-sty loses for the 4th time in a playoff series, it's not over. I just don't understand the concession speeches I saw from some Circle Jerkers though, WTF?

Sorry, dude. You can't on one hand say "I'll pull up these posts" but be conceding defeat for your team on the other hand. That's a no-lose situation and a very, very safe approach, kinda like Medevenko taking it to the hoop.

And the difference between you and me is here I am, hiding from NOBODY. The Kings just played a combination of emabrassing basketball, combined moreso by the Mavericks playing absolute lights-out basketball (greatest offensive display possibly ever and we're halfway done) and I'M HERE.

The Kings season may have went out the window. Webber is gonna have an MRI on the knee, he didn't look good. Jackson looks like he may miss some games due to an eye socket bruise or something. Oh well, the Kings don't know how to win anyway.

I find it interesting that nobody calls me out when I fail to post after the Lakers punked the T-Cubs (as predicted when they went down 2-1). Adam should be fully aware that I do not hide from anything as it relates the the Lake Show.

What is beautiful is the hatred eminating from the posters each time the Staples Crew approaches the brink of elimination. Last time I checked, all the Spurs did was hold Home Court.

The Spurs did the same thing to the Lakers that those Cuban Cigars are doing tonight to the Farmers. (uh, minus the NBA record 83 points they hung on the DEFENSELESS Kings?)

The Boot Accessorizors played completely out of their minds these first two games and will win the series if they keep jacking up 55% on their shots. But like the T-Cubs, they will start to feel the noose getting tighter as the clinching games approach. (Kings fans know all about CLINCHING games, right?)

I look for the Lakers to re-group and come away with a 6-7 point victory in Game #3. All of a sudden it is 1-2 and the MVPs start shivering.

The Lakers will then pull out Game #4 on Sunday to tie it up at 2 with a HUGE game in Texas for Game #5. This is where the series will be decided.

Given the Zenmasters ability to outcoach MVP Greg, don't be surprised when the short-handed Champs rip the Accessorizors hearts out.

Boy, that was fun....

Dallas played a game that would have beaten just about anyone. I got to give them a lot of credit for not just the offensive fireworks they showed for 48 minutes, but the passion they had.

It was the classic "we're sick and tired of being dominated... let's do something about it"

And did something about it they did. Nowitski got them going, Van Exel just buried us and it got very contagious.

Nelson has to get credit here as the unsung star of the game. To try something new at this stage of the playoffs takes guts and going small made the game a frantic pace that the Mavs play best at. Moreover, Divac has killed the Mavs inside and the lineup made Divac very ineffective, especially in that a lot of the offense runs through him.

What Dallas did was historic. Whether this totally turned the series around in Dallas' favor we'll find out in Game 3. I know this. Sacramento's got a good home court too. As long as they don't lose at home, Dallas can enjoy their Game 2 performance but we'll move on.

Make no mistake though. Dallas made a big statement tonight and it really was "it's about time we really have a rivalry here". Because until tonight, Kings dominated. Now, the Mavs finally have confidence.

What hurts most is the injuries. Losing Webber or Bobby Jackson we can overcome. Losing both... really levels the playing field and that might just have happened. Still, the one thing the Kings always have had in their favor is their great depth. No Webber means we'll see a lot of Turkoglu. No Jackson means Bibby will need to play 40+ minutes and need to wake the f up... as he becomes the most important player on the Kings team.. again.

Not surprised Dallas won. Very surprised how easy it was but sometimes a team gets in the zone and the emotion produces is just overwhelming.

Kudos to them... Arco awaits.

I look to see them make a statement in Game #1 with a win. San Antonio continues to clank FTs in the clutch. Shaq-Diesel and Kobe are clicking so bring on the winner of the Blazer/Euros series.

Before tonight, Cal's latest remarks and predictions. As usual, like his other predictions (see the 74-8 prediction he once had ), they were wrong, so I'm sure the Spurs are quivering in their boots.
