'Just a guy' actually makes him considerably better than most of the guys picked in the top 10 that year.

Stafford - Over-rated QB who's had one good season.

Jason Smith - Total Bust

Tyson Jackson - Just a guy

Aaron Curry - total bust

Mark Sanchez - sucks. Probably would have busted hard on another team

Andre Smith - Starting OT.

Darrius Heyward-bey- Not quite a bust, but not quite 'just another WR' either. Basically a scrub now.

Eugene Monroe - Not good.

There were some decent players picked after this (Raji, which is the guy I fully expected KC to pick with the 3rd pick, was the next selection.)

The 2009 draft sucked.

I was right there with you with Raji. I think Pioli thinking was at the time that the Chiefs had inside guys that could do the job. But still...
